An agent reads that email, finds the matching rate in your ledger, applies your margin rules, and puts a priced draft reply in front of your team before anyone has opened the thread.
It is wired into the way forwarding actually runs. Gmail and Outlook connectors on the front, CargoWise and Magaya sync on the back, and a durable pipeline in between that logs every step of every run.

Every email runs through a six-step pipeline: understand the request, match rates, build the quote, apply the margin guard, draft the reply, file the record. Each step is durable and replayable, and the full timeline is visible per run. You can see which rate, which surcharges (BAF, THC, documentation fees), and which margin rule produced every price. Nothing near your money is a black box.
Humans stay in charge
The agent drafts; a person approves and sends. Quotes can be held for manager approval, either always, never, or whenever a price falls below your margin floor, and sending an unapproved quote is refused. The speed comes from removing the copy-paste, not the judgment.
Built on your own rates
Fretie prices from the carrier contracts, spot sheets, and surcharge tables you load, not from market averages. Your Maersk contract rate on Shanghai to Rotterdam with its validity window is what the agent quotes from, and every quote carries a provenance record answering "why this price": the rate it matched, the surcharges applied, the margin rule used, and the agent run that produced it.

Where do the prices come from?
From your own rate ledger: the carrier contracts, spot sheets, and surcharge tables you load into Fretie. Every quote includes a provenance record showing which rate, which surcharges, and which margin rule produced the number.
Do I have to replace my TMS to use Fretie?
No. Fretie sits on top of your TMS. CargoWise and Magaya remain the system of record; Fretie handles the AI quoting layer and pushes confirmed bookings down into them.
How long does it take to get started?
Connect a Gmail or Outlook inbox, import a rate card, and the agent starts working the same day. The trial runs 14 days with no card required.
Can AI handle both spot rates and contract rates?
Yes. The ledger holds both, each with its own validity window, and the agent matches against whatever is valid for the lane and dates in the request. Expired rates drop out of matching automatically, so a stale spot quote from last month never prices a new shipment.
